The Walk

“Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.” Genesis 13:17

Walking through life and scripture alike are a journey and not one intended to be traveled alone. God has offered us His Word to give us hope, joy and fulfillment, but so often we miss the treasures hidden within.

?Join us as we walk together discovering some of those hidden treasures.?

Our heartbeat for this event is to connect women from all denominations and every stage of life to walk alongside one another--- growing, encouraging and challenging one another. 

We will explore the richness of His Word as we reflect on scriptures from Genesis through the unique teachings of Melody Westbrook, and fellowship with women in our community lead by Emiliegh Ziebka. 

Our prayer is that we can unite women of faith to pursue Jesus passionately and seek His wisdom diligently. 

What is, “The Walk”??

You may have taken a peek at this event and wondered, WHAT in the world is this? 

What will we be doing this whole time? 

Are they going to feed me?

So here are a few insights to help answer these questions:

- In basic terms, this is an in-depth Bible study with women throughout our communities, both those connected to Christ as well as those disconnected. We are hoping to reach the later and bring the former closer. We will be diving into the Old Testament together, bringing it into focus in our everyday lives.

- The event will be broken down into “sessions” that will look something like this:

o Worship (led by the talented Lindsey Erin Bowman)

o Bible Lesson (taught by the incredible Melody Westbrook)

o Group Discussion (facilitated by the amazing Emileigh Ziebka)

o Break time (light refreshments/restrooms/etc)

- FOOD!! ? -- We will have light refreshments available throughout the afternoon, but most importantly, you will not go home hungry, we will be serving a full dinner before wrapping up for the evening (catering details to come)!!
