The learning event will cover the importance of art and creativity for young children. It will focus on the different types of art and how it supports a child’s development. Focus is also on the connections to learning of cognitive, physical, and social skills.
Learning Outcomes:
- Be able to identify the stages of development in writing and drawing.
- Understand symbolic systems of communication for young children.
- Demonstrate the importance of nurturing creativity in young children.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
