Vince & Co. are becoming regulars, and we aren't reinventing the wheel. But there will be new songs that are sung, and new music played. The guys will wear different clothes and at least two of them continue to get haircuts. These guys are good people and great musicians, so come on out and have a good time at Jack's Joint with The Vince Varvel Quartet!Vince Varvel brings his amazing skills on guitar to Jack's Joint to play a night with his quartet. Vince is highly respected in the world of chamber music and small ensemble jazz that combines experimental aspects to traditional sounds. He is a highly intelligent and well-trained musician with a lot of experience. All of that adds up to some mind-bending great tunes that you might have to let roll around in your head a bit before they sink in completely.
His quartet has Joel Vanderheyden, Joe Meyer, and Eric Warren, all of whom are highly accomplished musicians in their own fields. These four share common aspirations with music and will set a very high bar for one another. They are well practiced and true compadres of the form. This music doesn't fit neatly into a category, but you can expect aspects of jazz, classical and experimental to combine for some very interesting takes.
