About this Event

"The Village We Sow" is where artists take the stage and elders take the mic. We aim to unite the diaspora and allied communities connected to Congo DRC, Haiti, Palestine, Sudan, and beyond.

Rooted in the spirit of “create for change”, our elders will share generational wisdom through storytelling and dialogue. Grounding the night in resilience, advocacy, and connection; as the evening pulses with live music, live visual art, poetry, and dance.

This is a space built with intention: where art doesn’t just entertain, it plants seeds. Seeds of collective action. Seeds of collaboration. Seeds of a community that shows up for itself by spotlighting local artists and strengthening the roots that hold us together.
