Join us for The Village Read, a free monthly gathering where Brooklyn families come together to read, swap books, and connect. Dig out a gently loved book your little one has outgrown, bring it along, and trade it for a fresh new read to kick off the season. While the kids settle in for a cozy read-in, parents get a moment to breathe, snack, and meet other families in the neighborhood.

Because every little reader deserves a new story — and every parent deserves their village. 🌸

What to expect:

• A cozy, welcoming read-in space for kids and caregivers
• A book swap — bring one, take one
• Light refreshments
• Great conversation with fellow parents
• A monthly reset the whole family will look forward to

What to bring: One gently used book in good condition to swap Best for: Little readers ages 5–11 — siblings and caregivers of all ages welcome Cost: Free — registration is highly suggested so we can plan for your family
