About this Event
A Japan-themed edition of L/R TRIGGER - Music from games primarily intended for a Japanese audience.

Although this event is also considered free entry, to participate in the voting rounds, you need to purchase a (Wrist)Band of Directors to join the 'Band of Directors'.
Video Recording & Promotional Material Consent
Continuous video recordings on 360-degree cameras (not live-streamed) will run for the whole night.
The video footage will be used for promotional material in the form of at least the following:
- Instagram posts (with Boost for Ads)
- Eventbrite event pages for future gigs
Additionally may also be featured on:
- YouTube
- Physical hand-out flyers
To request to not be featured in future highlights & promotions, inform the DJ.
What's the gig?
A live DJ performance driven by the crowd that changes the course of the mix by choosing a new music genre at every 30-minute clock mark.
The audience will experience this alongside synchronised light fixtures and video edited in preparation.
Example Scenario:
Each round starts with the DJ (ADRENALen) reading the crowd, then types out two genres to display on the TV screen (e.g. J-Pop, Funky House).
The 'Band of Directors' have 30 seconds to choose by standing to the left or right of the dancefloor respectively.
The side with the most people triggers the mix to the new direction.
On the occasion the vote is tied, both genres will be played equally.
8 rounds means 8 chances to vote in a DJ set. Energy levels of each track will be considered & selected depending on crowd behaviour & engagement.
