The Vermont Choral Union - Handel's MESSIAH - Sunday December 10, 4:00 p.m.

The Vermont Choral Union, directed by Eric Milnes, will partner with Montréal's two-time Juno Award-winning baroque Ensemble L'Harmonie des saisons in two remarkable performances, bringing the magnificent sacred work alive with period 18th century instruments, offering audiences the opportunity to experience it as it was conceived by Handel and heard in the 18th century.

Internationally acclaimed soloists for the occasion will be Denise Torre-Ormeno, soprano (Santiago, Chile), Nicholas Burns, countertenor (Vancouver), Philippe Gagné, tenor (Montréal), Sumner Thompson, baritone (Boston), and William Kraushaar, bass (Montréal).
