The Vandoliers | The Knocked Out Rhythms

Dallas-based Vandoliers formed in 2015, knotting together punk attitude and country swagger through trumpet, banjo, fiddle and more. Led by frontperson Jenni Rose (formerly Joshua Fleming), the band has carved out a wild niche—touring with Flogging Molly, Old 97s, Turnpike Troubadours, even Reverend Horton Heat. Their sound? Think barn-dance brawl meets honky-tonk hangover.

Die Luzerner Musiker Claudio Strebel und Sam Gallati sind beide musikalisch weit gereist (Coal, Mothers Pride, Swing de Paris). “The Knocked Out Rhythms” starteten 2012 als Duo und sind neu mit Arno Troxler im Trio unterwegs. Sie haben viele Gigs in der ganzen Schweiz gespielt. Zu erwähnen sind etwa das B-Sides Festival in Kriens, die Stanser Musiktage oder das Jazzfestival Willisau. Die Band hat 2017 ihr zweites Album aufgenommen.
