Produced entirely locally by the dedicated filmmaking troupe behind the popular YouTube channel Atun-Shei Films, whose first feature The Sudbury Devil was lauded by Dread Central as the best independent horror film of 2023, this film rips away the tourist kitsch and tired literary tropes of the New Orleans vampire to reveal the seething historical injustices lurking just beneath the surface.
