The VAL Awards 2024

The VAL Awards are back for 2024. This auspicious awards evening will take place at the stunning Mercure Leicester The Grand Hotel on the evening of Friday 18 October 2024. The evening will run from 7pm until late.

Let's make this a night to remember and celebrate all the amazing people and groups supporting our local communities. This is our chance to recognise and reward the amazing people that change so many lives.

This year we have 11 awards and we will be presenting a winner in each category:

3. Social Enterprise of the Year
4. Volunteer-Led Organisation of the Year
5. Trustee of the Year
6. Kathryn Burgess Volunteer of the Year
7. Inspiring Leader of the Year
8. Fundraiser of the Year
9. Charity & Business Partnership of the Year
10. Overall Charity of the Year Award
11. Kevan Liles Lifetime Achievement Award

Join us and attend the Awards ceremony. Tickets are limited and we advise you book as soon as possible. Post Awards ceremony you'll have the chance to connect, network and celebrate with peers and colleagues.

Individual tickets are £100 + VAT each.

A sit down meal and a complimentary drink on arrival will be provided.

Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) is a charity that helps individuals across Leicester and Leicestershire to change their lives for the better.

VAL currently delivers:

• Advice, support and training for local voluntary sector organisations on topics like governance, funding and managing volunteers through our Voluntary Sector Support team
• Support for people with learning disabilities to have fun, make new friends and learn valuable life skills through our VALUES project
• Employability support for young people and members of families to overcome barriers to find work, training or education through our YES Project and GREAT Project
