The Upstate Creative Group: October 2024

We are excited to host the 2nd Upstate Creative Group meeting and feature guest speaker Blair Knobel of Knobel Media.

Blair Knobel is the founder of Knobel Media and the founding publisher and editor in chief of Vessel. She graduated from Furman University with a degree in studio art and honed her journalistic path as an editorial work scholar at Aperture Foundation in New York City. In 2008, Blair moved back to her native South Carolina, finding her publishing niche in magazines. She helped to launch , eventually leading the brand for nearly a decade as its editor in chief. In 2022, Blair created , a Substack and quarterly print publication celebrating the creativity and culture of the modern South.
