About this Event

The Upcycle, created by SunRae and LoizART, is a creative series centered around slow fashion, sustainability, wearable art, and self-expression. Through collaborative workshops, fashion showcases, styling experiences, and artistic gatherings, The Upcycle encourages repairing, reimagining, and transforming materials into meaningful creations while uplifting local artists, designers, performers, and creative voices.

We will have a shared supplies table and instructors, but here are some other things to bring to get the most from the evening

• Unfinished projects you want to progress with
• A tshirt (or two) to cut, get block printed or rework)
• Jewelry that needs repairing or reworking
• Clothes that need mending
• Clothes to swap ( 4 items max, mens clothes too)
• Any art materials you might want to create with or share

Throughout the series, we are working towards producing slow fashion show and exhibition on Novemeber 27th (black friday) 2026:

This is a blended fashion show experiece highlighting slow fashion desingers, performers, and art instalaitons.
