Flower children of the night spring is upon us, as we drift out of our winter torpor and welcome the warmer days and ecstatic blooms, why not drift on away with some heavenly kraut & psychedelia?? Come on down to the heady happening in our coloury Cave as The UP CLUB presents Castles In The Sky…. and to present this seasons crop of aureate guests:

♦︎ LUCID VOID [Psychedelic Krautrock LIVE] ♦︎
Forming in 2016 and captivating audiences with their bombastic soundscapes that convey one to other worldly realms, lilting, sacred and yet still an ascendency to a heavier fuzz. Jakob, Samba, Béla, & Max hailing from Darmstadt released their much anticipated self-titled album on Sound Of Liberation records in May 2023. The album is loaded with cross-references of krautrock legends as well as modern heavy psych but is it‘s own creature with unprecedented details and yet while being an instrumental album it is full-bodied and sticks in your mind. We first saw the young band at a festival in 2022 and we are thrilled to have them join The UP CLUB alumni!

♦︎ HOLLY CALDER [Freakender / Glasgow] ♦︎
Really in a league of her own and we aren‘t just being biased as she is one of our dearest friends but you are in for a treat party people! Holly is and has been an absolute staple on the music scene in her native Scotland and beyond since years. The now defunct but infamous Double Sight weekender was THE place to be, newer projects such as Freakender and Anna & Hollys Dance Party follow suit, eagerly awaited and heartily enjoyed. DJing worldwide from Tokyo (for a DS special) to USA (a favourite at Levitation) she is bringing a selection of stompers from the obscure past and the newfangled sounds you want to move your bodies too. Made-up to have Holly back on the decks for another UP CLUB to remember!.

♦︎ EDU LAZARO [Headshrinkers / Barcelona] ♦︎
Co-Founder of ultra cool Barcelona based party Headshrinkers which celebrates psych, manchester rave & beyond, he is also a resident at Barcelona Psych Fest and regular at Sala Upload, Edu Lazaro will be joining our line-up and hold onto your hats as he has a collection to rival the best. A vast and prime selection of neo-psychedelia & nostalgic rarities fade into a kaleidoscopic wave of sound that will have you all quivering and bopping away till the wee small hours. We are overjoyed to have him for the first time at The UP CLUB!
