The Omonians are an Athens-based band blending Rock, Reggae, Soul, Jazz & Funk into an eclectic high-energy live experience. Fronted by Kiki Militsis on vocals (UK / Zambia), John Kousis on Guitar, Christos Katselis on Drums and John Drake on Bass.
Inspired by the Greek word Omonia (Ομόνοια), meaning harmony, unity and “same mind” – and of course by Omonia Square, the city's restless heart: multicultural, chaotic and alive, glowing long after midnight. This duality defines the band – love and unity through music, delivered with a neon-lit boldness.
Expect creative covers done the Omonian way, spanning a wide range of artists like The Clash, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley, The Police, Jefferson Airplane, CCR and Stevie Wonder – plus a few surprises along the way.
