Join the UNLV Wind Orchestra for The Pursuit of Happiness, the final concert of the 2025–2026 UNLV Division of Wind Band Studies Concert Series.The program is centered on The Pursuit of Happiness by Jim Colonna, a powerful and large-scale contemporary work for wind band that has quickly gained recognition for its expressive depth, bold orchestration, and emotional scope. This performance offers a compelling opportunity to experience one of the most exciting new works in the repertoire.
The evening will also feature the world premiere of Country Dancers by Robert Debbaut, further highlighting UNLV’s commitment to new music and the continued growth of the wind band art form.
This concert brings the season to a close with a celebration of innovation, artistry, and the future of wind band music. We invite students, educators, and members of the community to join us for this special performance.
