Join Te Whare o ngā Pūkōrero Pūoro, the School of Music at the University of Auckland, for an enchanting evening of symphonic music at St Matthew-in-the-City, 187 Federal Street, Auckland CBD, on Monday, 30 September at 7:30 PM.
The University Symphony Orchestra, composed of dedicated full-time performance students and talented individuals from various faculties, proudly presents their spring showcase concert under the baton of conductor Jono Palmer.
We are thrilled to announce the world premiere of PhD student Lin Zheng’s composition, Cyan Beyond Blue, a work for Zheng and orchestra, featuring the composer herself as the soloist. The program also includes two beautiful works, Brahms' Symphony No. 4 and The Marriage of Figaro Overture by Mozart.
Admission is free, but seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
