The Underground 20 Year Anniversary Festival

For two decades The Underground has been a stalwart custodian of Hong Kong's music scene hosting gigs festivals and many more creative events that shine a spotlight on the city's incredible musical acts. The Underground was founded on a trail-blazing dedication to championing the performing arts community and giving bands a vital stepping stone on their journey from intimate gigs to high-production performances.

Founder Chris B shares "My goal is to bring attention to the incredible talent right here in Hong Kong. Bands playing original music deserve our respect for the hours they spend on their craft. We were there for Chochukmo ToNick and Nowhere Boys' early performances in Hong Kong and invite you to join us in supporting the next generation of star artists."

The festival line-up shows off the best of Hong Kong's diverse music scene with genres from folk to indie and pop to hard rock represented. Whether it's established live favourites or exciting new talents two days of electrifying performances are guaranteed.

Catch: Darthreider & The Bassons Tokyo's funk-rock hip-hop band who will make their Hong Kong debut on the first day of the festival.

The festival offers more than just music – there'll be craft and food stalls in the Gallery area to peruse in between acts.

Ticketholders will also be in with the chance to win fantastic prizes donated by Tom Lee Music Group Giordano Pirata Restaurant Group and many more.
