Join us in the children's department on 19th & 20th September where we'll be celebrating Rachel Bright’s and Jim Field’s turt-ally awesome picture book, The Turtle Who Turned the Tide. Expect a special rendition of our regular 3pm Saturday storytime, as well as some turtle themed activities over the whole weekend!

As part of Hachette Children’s Books’ Raising Readers literacy initiative, this special weekend is all about raising awareness about the UK's reading crisis and encouraging all of us to help make reading for enjoyment part of children's daily lives. You can find out more at www.raisingreaders.co.uk.
