Opera UCT is thrilled to present Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw with American stage director, Harriet Taylor, fresh from her two-year residency as a Jette Parker Artist at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and British Movement Director, Scott Howland.Full of dramatic and musical suspense, The Turn of the Screw chillingly confronts a theme which consumed Britten for much of his career: the loss of innocence.
The Opera UCT Cast and Chamber Orchestra are conducted by Jeremy Silver.
