The Threshold Salon is the journey between the tables I’ve built here and the home I’m building for this work in Kenya. The Table is a human development residency in the Nairobi National Park where story, movement, shared meals, and rest become practices for remembering what it means to be human.

And Tulsa is in the bones of it.

The traveling

table itself was made here. So much of what I now understand about story, belonging, history, and gathering was shaped here. Before I cross this next threshold, I want to return to the community that helped shape me—and gather old and new tablemates around the table once more.
