The Tribe doesn't have a singer, and about two songs in you'll understand why they don't need one. Kansas City's premier instrumental fusion band bends jazz, funk, R&B, and soul into one continuous groove — keys, lead guitar, bass, and percussion locked in tight, with a sound so big that audiences never quite believe there's no vocalist up there. Their motto says it all: Vibe with The Tribe.
They've been lighting up Kansas City stages since 2022, and when they headlined the Blue Room this past February, the room asked them back before the second set was over. This is music built for a Saturday night out — heads nodding, drinks up, four players having a conversation you get to listen in on.
Two full sets in the city's most storied jazz room. Come feel what a band can say without a single word.
