Having met at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church of Madison, WI, the two women quickly became friends. The relative age difference did not matter. Magda and Maria connected through their shared interests and experiences, including art, immigration, and history. Join Maria Katsaros-Molzahn on Thursday, May 18, from 6:30-7:30pm as she discusses this transformative story. An interactive drawing and watercolor session will ensue following the book discussion.
