Welcome to the future, with all the promises of space exploration, flying cars, renewable energy, and cures for nearly every disease! Unfortunately none of that has happened, but instead we get cryogenic freezing, three seashells, Taco Bell as the fanciest of restaurants, and a murderous game show hosted by Richard Dawkins.That’s right, it’s Demolition Man (1993) and The Running Man (1987)! Two iconic dystopian science fiction films that share a number of thematic similarities while also being the most over the top movies about the future.
So for one night only, join Jordon and Landis of Tragically Ludicrous with a special double feature of these two cult classics in the upstairs micro theatre of Witches and Wizards.
