Here's the deal -- there's a tiny man who is trying to K*ll Jamie Loftus.
For years now, she's been receiving threats from a man the size of a quarter who has vowed to K*ll her, especially if she makes a show to capitalize on the fact that there's a man the size of a quarter who's trying to K*ll her. She doesn't know who he is, but goddamn if the guy isn't charismatic.
So that's what she's doing, in the hopes that the show will lure in the tiny man so she can get rid of him for good. It's a chaotic one-act play that follows Jamie's history with the tiny man, her appeals to his ego, and very possibly, a full-blown possession. Expect body horror, a protracted dinner scene, and a tiny man that is trying to K*ll and take over Jamie's body. The outcome of the show will depend on the audience!
Workshop shows will be on November 1st and 20th, and there will be a very special taping on December 5th (on sale soon!). Let's get his ass!
Jamie Loftus is an Emmy-nominated comedy writer and the bestselling author of Raw Dog: The Naked Truth About Hot Dogs. She's workshopped shows at the Lyric over the years like the acclaimed Boss Whom is Girl and I Lost My Virginity on August 15, 2010, and is really excited to get a new show on its feet.
