Their most iconic and biggest hit being “When Will I See You Again”, which has sold just short of 21 million copies worldwide and is one of the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify, with over 1.8 billion streams.
The ladies started their journey in 1963 and an uninterrupted 61 years in the business earns them the official title of ‘The Longest Running Female Vocal Group In History’.
Their sparkling choreography, perfect vocal harmonies and graceful stage craft even charmed royalty as King Charles (then Prince Charles) publicly acclaimed The Three Degrees as his favourite group, earning them the “Charlie’s Angels” tag and an invite to the Prince’s wedding with Princess Diana, which they graciously accepted.
The Three Degrees are Valerie Holiday, who has been a Degree since 1967, Freddie Pool and the newest Degree is Hazel Payne.
