A volte non abbiamo scelta su cosa portiamo; portiamo ferite e preoccupazioni, misteri ed errori, segreti e cicatrici, grano e dolore, fardelli e bagagli.
Le nostre spalle diventano pesanti di "dovrei"; dovrei essere di più... dovrei essere migliore... Uniamoci per ri-muovere e scrollarci di dosso le catene del "dovrei".
Spesso, il peso del mondo sembra troppo pesante da portare da soli. Inizieremo dal nostro peso, sentendo la gravità delle nostre vite e ciò che possiamo scoprire di noi stessi attraverso il movimento. Ci muoveremo in comunione gli uni con gli altri, un dialogo condiviso che può alleggerire il nostro carico e aprirci a una connessione più profonda.
Danzeremo in comunità con tutti, esplorando e testimoniando le diverse responsabilità dell'essere umano.
Impariamo a fare spazio nei nostri corpi per liberarci di ciò che non è più al servizio del nostro benessere e della nostra crescita.
Spesso, il modo migliore per portare un fardello è mostrarlo e condividerlo. E possiamo sempre ricordare che ci sono cose che portiamo che non hanno alcun peso; verità, gentilezza, speranza, grazia, meraviglia, amore.
Se senti il richiamo, unisciti a noi, per fare pratica insieme, dentro e fuori dalla sala.
SOUL MOTION è una pratica di movimento in cui coltiviamo la nostra capacità di ascolto della profonda saggezza del corpo e dei silenziosi sussurii dello spirito. Percorriamo con curiosità la spirale incrociando il nostro futuro e il nostro passato. Quando il corpo incontra lo spirito e il movimento incontra il momento possiamo fare esperienza del dissolverci nello spirito. Questa è la danza dello Spirito in Movimento "Soul IN Motion". Michael Molin Skelton
Danzatore e coreografo in compagnie di danza nazionali ed internazionale nel 1994 ha incontrato Gabrielle Roth e, su sua indicazione, nello stesso anno ha iniziato ad insegnare 5Ritmi. Si è poi certificato nel 1998 come insegnante di 5Ritmi, nel 2001 di Soul Motion e nel 2019 di Open Floor. Ha studiato per 15 anni Continuum con Susan Harper e questo ha influenzato molto il suo insegnamento.

Sometimes we do not get a choice in what we carry; we carry wounds and worry, mysteries and mistakes, secrets and scars, grist and grief, burdens and baggage.
Our shoulders become heavy with should’s; i should be more… i should be a better… let’s come together to re-move and shake off the shackles of should.
Oftentimes, the weight of the world feels too heavy to carry alone.
We will begin with our own weight, feeling the gravity of our lives and what we can discover about ourselves through movement.
We will move in communion with one other, a shared dialogue which can lighten our load and open us to deeper connection.
We will dance in community with all, exploring and witnessing the diverse responsibilities of being human.
Let’s learn to make space in our bodies to release what is no longer in service to our well-being and growth.
Oftentimes, the best way to carry a burden is to show it and share it. And may we always remember, there are things we carry that have no weight at all; truth, kindness, hope, grace, wonder, love.

Soul Motion is a conscious dance practice that supports students in an inquiry of dance as creative expression, and as a conversation of relationship to self, other, and reality. Soul Motion conscious dance practice values each participant for their unique and distinct voice in the body choir. All are needed. All are welcome. No experience necessary except for the one we get living a life with a desire to become awake to what it actually dancing.
Michael Michael Molin Skelton
He performed and choreographed in companies both nationally and internationally for 15 years.
He met Gabrielle Roth early in 1994. Later that year, at the request of Gabrielle, he began teaching the 5Rhythms. Michael got his 5Rhythms certification in 1998 and teacher certification in Soul Motion™ in 2001. He is also an Open Floor teacher.He has been a 14 year student of continuum montage with Susan Harper and his teaching has been greatly influenced by her mentoring.
