Motown legends The Temptations and The Four Tops are teaming up for an unforgettable evening of iconic music, signature dance moves and unmistakable harmonies. The two groups boast a collection of hits that is the very history of American soul music. The Temptations, often referred to as “American Music Royalty,” are world-renowned superstars revered for their phenomenal catalog of music and prolific career – a career that includes topping Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart 53 times, induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and earning four Grammy Awards. The Four Tops’ first hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving,” skyrocketed them to fame and became one of Motown’s longest-running chart toppers. With 24 Top 40 pop hits to their credit, these Rock & Roll Hall of Famers are a towering testament to the enduring legacy of the Motown Sound they helped shape and define.This event is part of the 2023-2024 University Arts Series presented by University Toyota.
