On November 1, 1889, Glasgow Green was struck by a devastating disaster when the wall of the under-construction Templeton Carpet Factory collapsed onto the weaving sheds below, tragically claiming the lives of 29 young women and girls in an instant. The Templeton Girls is a powerful performed reading by Witsherface.
Moving and respectful, the reading combines dramatic narrative with a deeply evocative live music score featuring original songs by celebrated Scottish singer-songwriter Lynnie Carson.
