Calling all teddy bear owners (aged 3-10)! Come along to Swanson's first ever Teddy Bear Clinic - where it's your turn to be the vet!
On Sunday 28th September (school holidays), we are opening up the vet clinic for the little ones to practice bandaging, using a stethoscope, wearing scrubs, and dispensing 'medication'. There will be games with prizes, raffles, and a bakesale (to keep them fueled up!) featuring our community's finest donuts and goodies.
We'd like to keep the clinic just for the kids and teddies, so for today, please leave the pups at home.
The reason for our Teddy Bear Clinic is to raise money for an upcoming Parvovirus Vaccination Drive in West Auckland which our clinic is involved in. The vaccination drive is aimed at those who cannot afford to vaccinate their doggos, and the goal is to spread awareness while reducing the disease and death rate of pups in our community.
The Teddy Bear Clinic is a FREE event, but please do bring cash with you for a sweet treat, and mark yourself as 'GOING' so we know what numbers to expect. Any donations are appreciated! See you there!
