About this Event
Leadership roles sometimes emerge organically, especially as a business grows. If you're taking on new staff, then you may benefit from this full day workshop on Leadership skills to help you, and them, make the most of the role.
Open to business owners/founders, and their nominated employees, this fully-funded leadership development workshop was developed to support businesses to grow the business with a happy team.
You are invited to nominate yourself or your employees for the programme where they will cover topics such as:
- Impactful Leadership: Know yourself first to lead others.
Following introductions, to review the numerous quotes posted on the walls, and a discussion / breakout around the delegates reflections.
Understanding that leadership is about adaptability and is an entry into the emotional intelligence model.
Learning and communication styles. An introduction to Daniel Goleman’s leadership styles.
- The Strategic Leader: Aligning the culture with your business mission.
Understanding that business objectives can often shape a culture, and how the importance of the workplace environment combined with the right leadership style helps drive the business objectives.
- Leading Through Transformation: Navigating change with Inclusive leadership.
Change management as a concept, examining our own responses to change, also the impact of inclusivity and how the changing generations in the workforce are resulting in different employee motivations. To examine our own response to change based on previous experience.
- Adapt to Thrive.
Building a personal development plan, for delegates to take away and reflect on their own actions. Emotional intelligence. Recap and next steps.
Businesses accessing this support will be asked to take part in a brief phone-based diagnostic to ensure as much as possible is gleaned from the programme.
