Join us for an unforgettable evening of theatre and purpose at Encore Theatre & Gallery as we present an elevated stage reading of The Teachers’ Lounge—a bold new dramedy that explores the lives, humor, and heartbreak of teachers working in a majority-Black public school in the South.This isn’t just a play.
It’s a celebration.
A call to community.
And a fundraiser.
Encore Theatre & Gallery exists to uplift urgent stories and center Black voices on the stage—and this event helps ensure we can keep doing just that. We’re inviting you to be part of this moment and this mission.
Each night will include:
