The Taste of Africa

We can’t celebrate USA without centering the contributions of Africans and the Diaspora. From the African ancestors were able to create a new culture in North, Central and South America to today’s immigrants from the mother continent who are changing the narrative of Africa and Africans today we have much to be proud of . The Taste of Africa invites you to experience the flavor and swag of the Black Diaspora - which began with Africa- through good food, fashion, art, Spoken word , African dance, music and more

This event will have several highlights one of which includes a VIP 5 course meal complete with an African safari and oasis theme. Guests will be stunned by an elegant dinner prepared by Chef Carmenia Morgan- Tyrus whose famous around greater Atlanta for her delicious and well executed meal presentations that sell out at most citywide festivals. Full menu with vegan/vegetarian options to follow.

This event will be hosted by comedian Michelle “ Mz. WallStreet” Hodges and philanthropist, author, Emmy winner and former Poet Laureate ,Hank Stewart will be one of many featured performers.
