Miki P and the Swallowtails is an acoustic folk duo based in Kansas City. Originally formed in 2018 after Miki P’s debut album, the band evolved through lineup changes and a rebrand, releasing their debut album Right Where We Are in 2020. Their sophomore album, The World Still Spins, followed in 2023, reflecting themes of change and growth. By late 2023, the Swallowtails became a duo, solidified by their 2024 EP Lucky Penny, which showcases their harmonies and instrumental chemistry. Their music blends pastoral folk and baroque pop, earning praise for its emotional depth. They perform regularly in the Midwest and are available on all streaming platforms.
Joined by Missouri based band, Roxie & the Moon King, a dusty neo-traditional folk duo comprised of singer-songwriters–Jenna English and Michael Stanton Armstrong.
