The Sunday Mix - A Mixed Media Workshop

The Sunday Mix is a weekly mixed media workshop led by instructor Christopher Reed that gives students the freedom to experiment across a range of mediums in a single session. Graphite, charcoal, ink, pastel, and watercolor are all on the table -- and you are encouraged to bring whatever materials you already work with and want to explore further.

Representational and abstract photos are provided as inspiration, along with basic supplies. The focus is on expression over perfection. Each session covers a range of techniques including blending, cross-hatching, stippling, glazing, and gestural drawing and painting -- giving you both structure and room to make the work your own.

This workshop is open to all levels. Whether you are just starting out or looking to push an existing practice in a new direction, there is space for you here.
