🔥 Get ready for an awesome night of R&B, Soul, and Latin music at Maple Hall on November 17th! Rare gems alongside your favorite classics! 🌟 Intro dance class (7:00-7:45pm)! Special guest instructor Terri Warren-Carver is teaching a Rueda de Casino class. Learn fun salsa movements in this community-driven dance. You'll dance in a circle and do called moves all while trading partners--it's a blast to learn and a great way to meet people!
💸 Cover: $10 to immerse yourself fully, or join us after the lesson for $5. Cash is preferred, but we gladly accept Venmo and PayPal.

🚫 No dance experience needed: Leave your dance anxieties at the door! Come chill, grab a drink or a snack, and vibe out to the tunes.
🕺 No dance partner required: Whether you're bringing friends or looking to meet some, everyone's invited!
💃 Any dance style goes: Swing, Carolina shag, blues, wcs, salsa, cha-cha, bachata all have rhythms that work well to the music. And, of course, solo dancing is encouraged! All styles are welcome! Step out of your comfort zone and try something new!

🎵 We honor and respect Black American artforms. We pay tribute to the roots of the music we play and the dances we love, the vast majority of which are born from Black American artistry, expressing resistance against hardships.
🤝 10% of The Sunday Get Down's proceeds go to The Bottom, a nonprofit community center and Black-affirming bookshop. They strive to build community, celebrate culture, and engage the creativity of Black people in Knoxville.
