The Summit! Featuring Jared Deck! Supporting The Cleveland County Crop Walk

You won't want to miss September's Summit at the Midway featuring Norman’s own Jared Deck and benefiting the Cleveland County CROP Hunger Walk. In addition to serving as a State Representative, Jared is national touring songwriter whose soulful blue-collar and Red-Dirt music has been influenced by his experiences growing up in rural western Oklahoma. Through booms and busts, music is where he could wrestle with questions of faith, work, identity and turn struggle into song. As a policymaker and musician, Jared has worked for justice for our neighbors who face hunger, homelessness and poverty. The Cleveland County CROP Walk is an annual charity walk that raises awareness and funds to fight hunger globally and locally. Proceeds support Food and Shelter in Norman and the international hunger-fighting efforts of Church World Service. Join us for some inspiring music for a great cause!
