The ancient sages of Tantra and Samkhya philosophies spoke of sukshma sharira, the subtle body. They contemplated the life force that animates all living things, then developed techniques to alter its flow. Join Michael Simpson, E-RYT 200, YACEP, for a comprehensive review of the energetic aspects of yoga from both traditional and modern perspectives. Learn simple, accessible techniques to help your students slow down and ground, expand their consciousness, and find more ease in sitting meditation. Refine your sensitivity of the energetic qualities of yoga, develop your knowledge of Ayurveda and Five Element Theory, and review practices to help your students balance each of the seven major chakras.
Earn up to 10.0 CE credits upon completion of this course. To maintain your Yoga Alliance registration, you must earn 30 credits from a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) every three years.
