The Storyline SLAM: Teacher

Teachers are the architects of our future, shaping our minds and hearts. For many of us, the most profound teachers of our lives have been outside of traditional schooling. Teachers leave an indelible mark on our lives. Good or bad, their influence extends beyond their teaching, often touching the very core of our being.

Through your stories, we’ll explore the impact teachers have on our lives and the moments that stay with us.

We are excited to be working with First Draft Book Bar as our community partner for August. They are an important community partner working with us at every show, but this month we wanted to show them some extra love and say thank you for supporting all of us who attend the Storyline SLAMs with their wonderful sustenance and libations.

To get in the storytelling drawing, sign up at TheStoryline.org before Saturday, 08.17.24. Six names will be drawn on Sunday, August 18th and posted on TheStoryline.org, The Storyline Facebook page, and Instagram @thestoryliners. At least two more names will be drawn at the beginning of the show on Friday, August 23rd.

Five members of the audience will be the judges. The storyteller with the most points at the end of the show wins.
