The Storyline SLAM: Hair

Hair tells a story. This month, we’re giving it the spotlight!

Join us 7:00PM at Changing Hands Bookstore in Phoenix for The Storyline SLAM: Hair.

Maybe it’s the story of shaving it all off, dyeing it a shocking color, or the family traditions tied to how we wear it. From the embarrassment of a haircut gone wrong, to the pride of a perfect braid, to the cultural and personal meanings rooted in every strand, hair connects us all in surprising and powerful ways.

To get in the storytelling drawing, sign up at TheStoryline.org before Saturday, 09.20.25. Six names will be drawn on Sunday, September 21st and posted on TheStoryline.org, The Storyline FB page, and IG @thestoryliners. At least two more names will be drawn at the beginning of the show on Friday, September 26th.

Hair is never just hair. It’s memory, identity, heritage, and style all woven together.
