Join us for a joyful St. Nicholas Day celebration this holiday season at St. George Orthodox Church! This family-friendly event is open to the entire Prescott community and is a fun and engaging way to learn more about the real St. Nicholas and how his story eventually grew into the figure of Santa Claus.Adults will enjoy a short and engaging presentation on the life of St. Nicholas, with beautiful Orthodox hymns woven throughout. At the same time, children will participate in their own activities designed to help them learn about kindness, generosity, and the spirit of St. Nicholas in a fun and memorable way. St. Nicholas himself will be present to guide the children and make the evening special.
After the program, everyone is invited to the courtyard for refreshments, and families may take home a St. Nicholas gift bag with traditional treats to help continue the celebration at home.
Registration is not required, but letting us know you plan to attend helps us prepare well for all our guests.
