In Honor of Marcus Mosiah Garvey, the Panthers present, The Story of Marcus Garvey, the documentary. The aim this year is the youth. We are asking all families and community leaders in education to encourage our youth to come sit, listen, and learn about the importance and history of Marcus Garvey. The Panthers understand that a nation can't progress without the information about our glorious past. Our city is in a dire state at the fate of our youth being victims of gun violence. We encourage all to keep the youth safe, and we are creating that safe space filled with knowledge and wisdom. This is our wakeup call to get more involved with studies than the streets.A part of us showcasing the film, we will be giving out prizes for those who participate in dialogue and Q&A. A light meal will be provided and it's free and open to the public.
