Building on the exhibition display during WAF2022, this is the reading of a new play telling the inspiring story of Peter Randolph Fraser.
About this Event
Flip Fraser arrived in London from Jamaica aged 15. He was the first editor of the Voice Newspaper, and creator of the iconic theatre production 'Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame' which celebrated 5,000 years of Black History in one night.Building on the exhibition display during WAF2022, this is the reading of a new play telling the inspiring story of Peter Randolph Fraser, AKA Flip Fraser.Flip's work inspired people, using the arts and media for education, entertainment and empowerment. His work is celebrated for giving Black people a voice, recognising and celebrating the achievements and contributions of Black people to humanity and society, telling the hidden stories, re-writing history, and making people feel proud.The story of Flip Fraser is also a love story. Full of music and drama, it's a true tale of heritage, passion, sorrow, love and loss.
