Doug will share the story behind his discovery that his paternal ancestors were Jewish and the historical journey that followed from the ancient Near East through medieval Europe and through generations shaped by survival, persecution, faith, and resilience. Doug draws on both his pastoral experience and historical research to explore the connections between Jewish and Christian history and the stories that can remain hidden within families for generations.
