To be stirred means to have renewed passion, zeal, or commitment to spiritual beliefs and practices. Feeling motivated or inspired to take action. It implies that a person's thoughts or emotions have been activated in a way that encourages them to make a change or pursue a goal. Being stirred often means experiencing a revival or awakening in one's faith.
