Steve Sedergreen is a leading figure on the Melbourne jazz scene, renowned as a pianist, educator, and curator (Dizzy’s Jazz Club 999–2006). He continues to perform at clubs, festivals, and major venues around the country. Steve is a musician whose playing can ignite a room with hard-swinging energy, then pivot without warning into something intimate, spacious and luminous. He is known for performances that feel both deeply grounded in tradition and unmistakably alive in the moment.
In this special Darwin performance, Steve will be joined by his good friends from Melbourne, James Clark (double bass) and Pete Baylor (guitar), local favourite Greg Jansen on drums and no doubt one or two other surprise special guests!
