The Steely Project, lovingly presented under the direction of Joseph Mahfoud, will perform two full albums from Steely Dan - The Royal Scam (1976) and Aja (1977). Reproducing this studio sound in a live setting requires many critical elements to meld into a perfect union. This includes the feel, the tone, the tempos, the stage blend, the sound engineer, the vocalists, the horn section, the piano players and the rhythm section. To meet this requirement, Joe has assembled the most in demand, achieved session players known to him as follows:
