Οι Steams έρχονται στο Gazarte Ground Stage, το Σάββατο 13 Δεκεμβρίου, για να παρουσιάσουν live το νέο τους album “VILE WONDERS”. Special guests: LOS TRE και ο μάγος Φανουά με το μοναδικό show του!
Το “VILE WONDERS” είναι το τρίτο τους studio album και αποτελεί την πιο δεμένη δουλειά τους ως τώρα. To πρώτο single “Arcadia” κυκλοφόρησε τον περασμένο Ιούνιο κερδίζοντας τις εντυπώσεις, ενώ τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο ήρθε η σειρά του “She’s in Sparkles” που επιβεβαίωσε πως οι Steams είναι έτοιμοι για το επόμενο κεφάλαιο της ιστορίας τους: πιο ώριμοι, πιο ευάλωτοι, και πιο ειλικρινείς από ποτέ. Δεν είναι τυχαίο, ότι με το δεύτερο single, η μπάντα παρουσίασε και το πρώτο τους official video clip, σε σκηνοθεσία του κιθαρίστα τους Ανδρέα Κοκοβίκα. Γυρισμένο σε miniDV κάμερα κατά τη διάρκεια του πρώτου ευρωπαϊκού τους τουρ, το video λειτουργεί σαν ένα κινηματογραφικό αναμνηστικό – ένα θολό ημερολόγιο στιγμών και δρόμου.
Το ”VILE WONDERS” θα κυκλοφορήσει σε όλες τις ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες στις 25 Νοεμβρίου ενώ θα είναι αργότερα διαθέσιμο σε βινύλιο από το την Made of Stone Recordings.
Οι Steams είναι μια psych rock μπάντα από την Αθήνα. Το 2018 κυκλοφόρησαν το ντεμπούτο τους άλμπουμ “Wild Ferment” και ξεκίνησαν ένα ταξίδι που τους έστειλε σε πολλά τουρ, 2 sold-out εκδόσεις βινυλίου και ποικίλα εγχώρια φεστιβάλ. Τον Ιούνιο του 2022 κυκλοφόρησαν το δεύτερο άλμπουμ τους “Mild Conquest”, μια σύγχρονη τραγωδία που επεκτείνει τον ήχο τους πέρα από τα όρια του «κλασικού» ροκ παντρεύοντας παραδοσιακά όργανα, πολυφωνίες και διηγήσεις με groovy ρυθμούς, ογκώδεις κιθάρες και διονυσιακά ξεσπάσματα. Έχουν εμφανιστεί στο πλευρό των The Cure, The Black Angels, Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), Khruangbin Lumerians κ.α.

The Steams come to the Gazarte Ground Stage on Saturday, December 13, to present their new album VILE WONDERS live. Special guests: LOS TRE and magician Fanua with his one-of-a-kind show!
VILE WONDERS is the band’s third studio album and marks their most cohesive work to date. The first single, Arcadia, was released last June and instantly drew attention, while this past October the band followed with She’s in Sparkles—a track that confirmed The Steams are ready for the next chapter of their story: more mature, more vulnerable, and more honest than ever. It is no coincidence that with their second single, the band also released their first official music video, directed by their guitarist Andreas Kokovikas. Shot on a miniDV camera during their first European tour, the video functions as a cinematic keepsake — a blurred diary of moments and miles on the road.
VILE WONDERS will be released on all digital platforms on November 25 and will later be available on vinyl via Made of Stone Recordings.
The Steams are a psych rock band from Athens. In 2018 they released their debut album Wild Ferment, beginning a journey that led them through numerous tours, two sold-out vinyl editions, and appearances at various Greek festivals. In June 2022, they released their second album Mild Conquest, a contemporary tragedy that expanded their sound beyond the boundaries of “classic” rock, blending traditional instruments, polyphonic arrangements, and narrative songwriting with groovy rhythms, heavy guitars, and Dionysian eruptions. They have performed alongside The Cure, The Black Angels, Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), Khruangbin, Lumerians, and more.
