The Friends of Steadward Centre Society is thrilled to announce our casino dates for 2026 and we really appreciate your support! Please take a minute to read about the volunteer positions that are available and choose one that works for you! Volunteering your time at casinos is a great way to support The Steadward Centre as all funds raised go directly to enhancing sport, physical activity, and recreation programs for people experiencing disability!

The following positions at a casino event must be filled by volunteers:

• General Manager(s) and Alternate
• Banker
• Cashier
• Count Room Supervisor
• Chip Runner
• Count Room Staff: Sorter, Counter, Recorder, amalgamator

Casino volunteers must:

• Have picture identification that shows their birthdate and address
• be able to handle money or have an aid to help them
• be able to hear, see, speak or have an aid with these capabilities
• be alert and observant
• be able to maneuver in the Casino facility for the duration of the shift
• be able to function in a noisy and possibly smoky environment
• be able to pass a security clearance check
• be a minimum of 18 years of age
