After our amazing success of our inaugural horse show, we are pleased to announce the SECOND annual Stars & Stripes Classic, a hunter-jumper benefit horse show, June 27th through 29th to support the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) to help benefit the collegiate IHSA riders in our region again. In 2024 we created the CCE Collegiate Equestrian Fund, a [501(c)(3) tax-exempt] Non-Profit to support these athletes. The Stars & Stripes Classic serves as a key fundraising event these collegiate athletes. With many colleges reducing funding for Athletics, events like ours are essential in providing student-equestrians the opportunity to train, travel, and compete. Proceeds from the show will go directly toward training costs, travel expenses, transportation of horses to and from shows, and supporting riders’ ability to compete at the national level.
2024 Stars & Stripes Classic Fun Facts:
*We had over 50 Horses & 70 Riders! We are anticipating 100 riders this year!
*We offered 143 Classes!
*We had a successful $500 Hunter Derby with 20 horses in the class!
*We ran multiple Classics, Bareback, Fundraiser and Fun classes!
*We had a Silent Auction of over 50 items!
*Multiple Social Receptions over the 3 days!
*We created profits in our FIRST year towards our CCE Collegiate Eq Fund non-profit!
