The Space Between - Opening

Im Rahmen des ersten interdisziplinären Residenz-Programmes "Unbound" für Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung in Deutschland haben sich sechs Künsler_innen mit Fragen beschäftigt, was uns verbindet, was eine Verbindung braucht und was passiert, wenn wir diese Verbindung verlieren:

Heike Bollig, Catherine Rose Evans, Rita Mazza, Dennis Meier, Macks Querfeldt und Asako Shiroki.

In der Ausstellung "The Space Between" werden die Antworten der Künstler_innen auf diese Fragen in Form neuer Kunstwerke präsentiert.

Wir laden Sie herzlich ein, die neuen Arbeiten zu erkunden, die so vielfältig sind wie die Künstler_innen selbst.

Die Ausstellung ist eine Kooperation zwischen Berlinklusion und CLB Berlin und ist Teil des Kulturprogrammes der Special Olympics World Games 2023.

Zur Eröffnung spricht die Stattssekretärin für Sport Dr. Nicola Böcker-Giannini und ein live DJ sorgt für gute Stimmung.

As part of Germany's first cross-disciplinary residency program "Unbound" for people with and without disability six artists engaged with the questions what connects us, what a connection requires and what happens when we lose this connection:

Heike Bollig, Catherine Rose Evans, Rita Mazza, Dennis Meier, Macks Querfeldt and Asako Shiroki.

In the exhibition "The Space Between" the artists present their answers to these questions in their new artworks.

We warmly invite you to explore the new works that are as diverse as their makers.

The exhibition is a cooperation between Berlinklusion and CLB Berlin and is part of the cultural program of the Special Olympics World Games 2023.

At the opening the state secretary for sports Dr. Nicola Böcker-Giannini will give a speech and a live DJ will ensure there is good music.
